The sea dragon-like Skrelp and the shrimp-like Clauncher became available in Pokémon Go for the first time today - but not to those using older versions of the game’s app. What’s happening is that these Pokémon’s in-game models aren’t loading - meaning they’re invisible - though they’re still technically on the map and can be caught using Pokémon Go Plus or Gotcha devices. Developer Niantic has now acknowledged the error and advised players to update their game to the most recent version - which, ironically, players were holding off on to avoid different bugs this new version introduces.
